Welcome!
My name is IRÈNE SVIT and I am pleased to welcome you to my website .
I am a professional artist of German origin, currently working in Georgia, I have been painting all my life.
I work mainly in oil colours, the key element of my work is the gilding technique. Gilding in my works is not “accidental”, it is used where it is necessary to create a sense of glow or to enhance the decorative effect. This technique adds expressiveness, interesting depth and visual emphasis to the work.
My paintings are dominated by a restrained, complex but “pure” colour palette.
Each picture is created with careful elaboration, great attention to detail and has its own individuality.
You can see my works in the gallery,
Enjoy your viewing!
On my website you can not only get acquainted with my work, but also read my author’s articles on various topics.
In the “Blog” section I regularly publish my projects, thoughts, informative and fascinating materials, interesting facts and observations that inspire me.

From the moment the material and spiritual value of works of art was realised, work began to preserve them from the effects of time. Perhaps a pattern can be deduced here: the level of cultural and aesthetic development of a society is adequate to the efforts...
