ABOUT ME

Each painting is the result of many hours of work, creative and emotional investment

I am engaged in art, mainly working with oil colours, actively using the technique of gilding. However, my creative work is not limited to one material, I like to master new techniques and try different directions, such as painting walls, painting on leather, creating murals, decorative and applied art and even jewellery. I strive for constant development and exploring new things in art.

FROM HOBBY TO PROFESSION

From an early age, I have had a passion for painting. As a child, I spent all my time in art classes, drawing and attending sculpture classes. Growing up, my interest in painting did not fade, but only increased and I decided to devote myself to art.

After graduating from art college, where I successfully defended my diploma work, I decided to continue my education at the St. Petersburg Baron Stieglitz Academy of Art and Industry, specialising in the restoration of easel and monumental painting. I am proud of the fact that despite the great competition in the entrance exams I managed to get the highest score.

Along with studying various disciplines, such as art history, painting, drawing, composition and copying old masters, I was involved in the restoration of easel painting on a daily basis, as well as taking an active part in exhibition activities.

In 2016, I received a diploma with honours and a diploma of the best graduate of the year. I am glad that I had a unique opportunity to study at the Stieglitz Academy at the Faculty of Monumental and Decorative Arts, recognised worldwide for the high level of specialist training.

After graduation, I was engaged in the restoration of an outstanding architectural monument of the first third of the XIX century. Yusupov Palace is rightfully one of the “pearls” of St. Petersburg, and I was glad to take part in such a grandiose project. The White Pillar Hall of the Yusupov Palace, which my colleagues and I restored, occupies two floors, its height is 17 metres and its area is 445 m2. Our team has done a lot of work to preserve and recreate the monochrome paintings in the technique of grisal, we restored the ceiling vault, caissons, luttenes and architraves at the moment the restoration of the hall is completed and anyone can visit it.

After completing work on the Yusupov Palace, I joined the Roerich Family Museum Institute as a conservation specialist. It was a unique experience that allowed me to immerse myself in the world of history and art of the artist and philosopher Nicholas Roerich. However, over time I made the decision to leave my career in the museum and focus on my art. I now paint my own paintings and create copies of works by great artists such as Pissarro, Michelangelo and others. My passion for painting has not only become my profession but also a way of expressing myself.

My passion for art continues to grow and I look forward to new challenges and opportunities for creative development.
